Southern Yorke Peninsula Accommodation

Where you choose to stay can make a big difference to your trip. Corny Point is ideal for easy access to surf beaches, fishing, coastal walks and Neptune’s experiences, while Marion Bay is a great base for exploring Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park and the southern coastline.
Accommodation throughout the region can book out quickly during summer, school holidays, long weekends and major events, so booking ahead is strongly recommended during busier periods.
Places To Stay
Corny Point Caravan Park
Located in the heart of Corny Point, the caravan park is a convenient and relaxed base for exploring the western side of the Southern Yorke Peninsula.
Accommodation ranges from cabins and units through to powered and unpowered camping sites, making it suitable for couples, families, groups, caravanners and campers.
The park also provides easy access to Corny Point’s beaches, local fishing spots, the lighthouse and nearby Berry Bay.
Good to know
The park also includes a modern camp kitchen and BBQ area, making it particularly convenient for longer stays or visitors travelling with camping equipment.
It's also located right next door to Neptune's, making it an excellent base for accessing Neptune’s surf lessons, equipment hire, day tours and Walk the Yorke shuttle.
Corny Point Beach House
For travellers wanting to stay right on the water, Corny Point Beach House offers absolute beachfront accommodation with uninterrupted views across the bay.
The three-bedroom home accommodates up to six guests and includes two queen bedrooms and a twin room, making it particularly well suited to families or small groups.
Good to know
The property sits at the end of a quiet no-through road and has generous parking, making it particularly handy for visitors travelling with fishing equipment or a boat.
It is also only minutes from several of the region’s best-known surf beaches and approximately half an hour from Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park.
The Bus Stop – Marion Bay
For something completely different, The Bus Stop is a converted bus tiny home hidden among the natural bushland around Marion Bay.
Designed as an off-grid retreat for two, it combines the feel of a tiny house with the character of a converted bus and is positioned close to Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park.
Things to watch for
The Bus Stop operates using 12-volt power, gas and rainwater, so it offers a more off-grid experience than a conventional holiday house.
Its Marion Bay location makes it particularly convenient for visitors wanting to spend their days hiking, surfing, sightseeing or exploring Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park.
Choosing Where To Stay
Corny Point / Marion Bay
Different parts of the Southern Yorke Peninsula suit different types of trips.
Corny Point is a great option if your plans revolve around surfing, fishing, Walk the Yorke, Berry Bay or Neptune's experiences.
Marion Bay is particularly convenient if your trip is centred around Dhilba Guuranda–Innes National Park, coastal hikes and exploring the southernmost sections of the peninsula.
If you're staying for several days, also think about travel time between activities. Distances around the Southern Yorke Peninsula can look short on a map, but many attractions are separated by country roads and coastal tracks.
