Welcome to Neptunes Surf Coaching! Below are our policies, terms, and conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. By participating in our programs, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Acknowledgement of Risks

    • Surfing is an inherently dangerous activity. Participants accept the risks, including the potential for injury, death, or property damage.

  2. Medical Conditions

    • Participants confirm they do not have any medical conditions that would materially increase the risk of injury or illness during lessons. Proficiency in swimming is required.

  3. Emergency Treatment

    • Neptunes staff are authorized to arrange emergency medical or hospital treatment, including ambulance transportation, if deemed necessary. Participants agree to cover all associated costs.

  4. Exclusion of Liability

    • To the extent permitted by law, participants release Neptunes staff from liability for claims arising from participation in surfing lessons. Liability is limited to the resupply of lessons or the cost thereof.

  5. Indemnity

    • Participants indemnify and hold harmless Neptunes staff against claims from any person arising from participation in surfing lessons.

  6. Severability Clause

    • If any part of this agreement is deemed void, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

  7. Consent for Media Use

    • Participants consent to photos and videos being taken during sessions. These may be used for promotional purposes, including advertising, social media, and marketing materials.

  8. Governing Law

    • This agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia.

Safety Policies

  1. Participants under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent.

  2. Safety equipment provided by Neptunes must be used as instructed.

  3. Participants must follow all instructions from Neptunes staff during lessons.

Finance Policy

  1. Payment

    • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place in our lessons or programs.

  2. Cancellations and Refunds

    • Participant-Initiated Cancellations:

      • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the lesson will receive a full refund.

      • Cancellations within 48 hours of the lesson are non-refundable.

    • Provider-Initiated Cancellations:

      • If Neptunes cancels a lesson due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, participants can choose between a rescheduled session or a full refund.

  3. School / Tour Group Bookings

    • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for schools and tour groups.

    • Final payment is due 7 days before the scheduled event.

  4. Late Payments

    • Outstanding balances may incur an additional fee. Participation in lessons may be withheld until full payment is received.

Privacy Policy

  1. Data Collection

    • Neptunes collects personal information such as names, contact details, and medical conditions solely for operational purposes.

  2. Use of Data

    • Information is used to ensure participant safety, process bookings, and improve our services.

  3. Data Sharing

    • Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with explicit participant consent.

  4. Data Security

    • Neptunes employs secure systems to protect participant data from unauthorized access.
